How do I know if I need a Divorce Coach?

All sorts of people need a Divorce Coach! I have solicitors, teachers, high net worth clients, clients who live abroad and clients who are from all sorts of backgrounds.

Some clients are right at the beginning, still trying to figure out if separation is the right decison for them, others are abolutely sure, but need help to deal with the day to day decision-making and confidence to manage their ex (or soon to be ex!). For others, they are struggling with post-separation abuse and need a few practical tips to help them deal with the day to day communication with their ex.

I offer a more discreet, personalised service, than traditional domestic abuse services and there are no lengthy waiting lists. I know that when you reach out, you don’t want to wait- I will always find a way to fit you in to my diary!

Coaching is not counselling. Coaching gives you quick results. It’s a unique combination of education, emotional support and practical tools designed to empower you and create positive change. I can’t change what has already happened but I can definitely help you build the future you deserve.

How many sessions will I need?

It’s entirely up to you – you might just want 1 ‘hotspot’ session to ask for some specific advice or get some emotional support which will help you get back on track.

You may want a few regular sessions where we set actions and we can deal with the imminent and urgent issues. We might focus on how to best support your children, understanding legal proceedings, learning about new coping strategies – whatever you are struggling with at the time, that is what we deal with first. By the end of each session you will have more clarity and feel less stressed and more in control.

There’s no need to sign up to expensive packages of support or commit to lots of sessions.

What are your Charges?

If you would prefer to have an initial telephone consultation , that is complimentary. Within 20 minutes I can get an idea of what you are struggling with and how I can help.

My fees are personalised to your circumstances.I try to keep my sessions affordable – even one session can make all the difference.

I offer support via txt messages and Whatsapp too at no extra charge if it’s just a quick bit of advice you need . Sometimes all it takes is 5 minutes of my time to ensure that you don’t spend a whole evening worrying about something, so I really don’t mind those brief in-between messages/calls – remember I have been where you are and I can still remember how it feels.

Do you only support people who are getting divorced?

No! I You don’t have to be married to see me. My niche is supporting people in controlling/abusive relationships, so all of my clients have some experience of that. Abuse doesn’t have to be physical, it could be financial abuse, conflict about the children or other types of controlling behaviour. I have male clients and clients in same-sex relationships. It doesn’t matter what your background is, if you are experiencing abuse, you are my ideal client.

Is it worth paying for a Coach as well as a Solicitor?

100% ! Coaching and legal representation is the ideal combination. If you are going through legal proceedings you will need formal representation – whether that is through a solicitor, a mediator or by instructing a Paralegal to help you.

Coaching can help you understand all the legal options open to you – there are so many these days and together, we will figure out what will work for you and your budget. I can help prepare you for mediation meetings, CAFCASS meetings, Child Protection meetings and/or Court. Being prepared is vital – you want to do the best job you can – together we make sure you do that.

Coaching can help support you through the many challenges you face along the way. I can help keep you safer, prevent you from making costly mistakes and keep you motivated through some of the most stressful times in your life. It’s definitely an emotional rollercoaster!

Once you come on board, you are no longer alone and your case is never closed. You have lifetime access to me!
