I have been helping a lovely student from https://www.royalholloway.ac.uk/ and a panel of domestic abuse experts recently. We have been looking and discussing the current gaps in competency frameworks for psychologists who work with victims of domestic abuse.

It blows my mind that there is currently NO framework for psychologists – so their levels of experience, how they identify tactics of coercive control, how they manage boundaries and safety when working with victims of domestic abuse can vary from clinician to clinician and organisation to organisation.
