Don’t worry, you aren’t alone! Some common worries people have include:
Are you going to tell people what I have disclosed?
NO! Everything you tell me is 100% confidential. The only time that information is shared is when I have a serious concern about an imminent and serious threat to yours or your children’s safety – this rarely occurs and even then it would be done with your consent.
Will I be pushed to do something I don’t want to do?
NO! Everything is done at your pace – the aim of coaching is to move forwards so we will discuss options and strategies to make your situation better and to help you feel more in control, but the work is up to you! However most people come to me because they are ready to make changes – if you keep doing things the same way you are going to get the same results..
Are you going to be shocked at what I have to tell you?
NO! I have heard most things over the past 13 years of supporting clients – it may seem shocking to you but please do not feel afraid of sharing information with me . This is important so I can assess any risk to you and work out a way to help.
Will it cost me a fortune?
NO! How many sessions you have is completely up to you! One session will be enough to start you on the right path, more will keep you on track. How many sessions and how often you have them are completely up to you and it can work out much cheaper than years of counselling or expensive solicitors calls.
Do I really need a Divorce Coach?
NO! Of course it is posssible to go through divorce or separation without a Coach, but this can be a lonely and confusing process that can go on for many months. If you have someone there to explain things to you, to support you and to help you through the process, it can be so much easier.
